1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

MYTHIX is an esports and competitive gaming organization based in Sri Lanka. This Privacy Policy explains how MYTHIX collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information when you visit https://joinmythix.com, create or use a MYTHIX account, connect a third-party account, enter a tournament or competition, submit an application, take part in MYTHIX community activities, or communicate with us. MYTHIX is responsible for the personal information it handles through the website and its services.

3. Information We Collect

Account Information

We may collect your name or display name, email address when you choose to provide one or connect Google, profile image when available, country when provided, Epic and other account identifiers, account role and status, and account creation, sign-in and connection records.

Google Sign-In

Google is optional for Epic-first player accounts. When you choose to sign in with or connect Google, MYTHIX may receive the Google account identifier, verified email address, name and profile image made available through the authorized Google process. MYTHIX does not receive or store your Google password.

Epic Account Services

Epic Games is the primary sign-in and tournament identity for MYTHIX player accounts. When you choose to sign in with or connect Epic Games, authentication is performed through Epic Account Services. Depending on the permissions you authorize and the information Epic makes available, MYTHIX may receive or process your Epic Account identifier, Epic display name or in-game name, basic profile information, connection and sign-in status and timestamps, and authentication response data needed to securely create, access or connect your MYTHIX account. MYTHIX does not receive or store your Epic Games password or the temporary Epic access token after the authentication response is completed. Internal Epic Account identifiers and authentication data are not intended for public display.

Tournament and Competition Information

We may collect tournament registrations, team names and membership, game handles, eligibility and check-in information, participation records, eliminations or kills, scores, placements, penalties, results, rankings, reports, evidence, dispute information, and information reasonably needed to administer approved rewards.

MYX Rewards Store Information

When you redeem MYX for a reward request, MYTHIX records the selected product, MYX cost, request and fulfilment status, transaction references, the Epic display name and Epic Account identifier connected at the time of the request, and administrative delivery or cancellation notes. This information is used to prevent duplicate or unavailable claims, maintain the MYX ledger, arrange an eligible official gift, provide support, process refunds and keep appropriate operational records.

Applications and Community Information

When you apply to join MYTHIX as a player, creator, streamer, staff member, partner, sponsor or in another role, or otherwise take part in community activities, we may collect the information you choose to submit. This may include your name, email address, country, age group, experience, biography, application responses, portfolio or channel links, social profiles, channel statistics, images, logos and other supporting material.

Support and Other Communications

We may retain emails, messages, support requests, reports, feedback, attachments and related correspondence that you send to MYTHIX.

Automatically Collected Technical Information

When you use the website, MYTHIX and its service providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, session or cookie identifiers, sign-in and security events, and server or access logs. This information supports website operation, diagnostics, security, analytics and abuse prevention.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

MYTHIX may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, preferences, analytics and advertising. The website may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may process cookie, device, usage and advertising-measurement information under their own privacy policies and controls.

MYTHIX collects or captures information:

• directly from you when you create or update an account, register for a tournament, submit an application or form, provide content, or contact us;
• from Epic Games when you use Epic Account Services as your primary MYTHIX player sign-in or connect an Epic account;
• from Google when you optionally sign in with or connect Google and authorize the relevant information to be shared;
• automatically through website servers, cookies, analytics or advertising scripts, session tools, security systems and access logs; and
• from service providers, tournament administrators or community services when reasonably necessary to operate a feature, confirm a submission, protect the service or resolve a support, safety or competition matter.

5. How We Use Information

MYTHIX may use personal information to:

• create, authenticate, secure and maintain MYTHIX accounts through Epic Games and, when selected, optional Google sign-in;
• connect authenticated Epic identities to tournament rosters, player profiles and competitive records;
• prevent duplicate, fraudulent, misleading or abusive accounts and investigate security incidents;
• determine tournament eligibility and process Solo, Duo and Squad registrations;
• administer teams, check-ins, tournaments, results, rankings, player statistics, disputes and approved rewards;
• publish the competition and organization information described below;
• review player, creator, streamer, staff, sponsorship, partnership and other applications;
• provide support and send important account, tournament, application, security and service communications;
• operate, troubleshoot, analyze and improve the website, services and user experience;
• deliver and measure analytics or advertising where enabled; and
• enforce MYTHIX rules and meet applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, recordkeeping and contractual obligations.

6. Public Information

Certain information is intended to form part of a public MYTHIX profile or competitive record. This may include MYTHIX display names, Epic display names or in-game names, team names and rosters, profile images, biographies, approved creator or Pro Team profiles, social or channel links, tournament participation, eliminations, scores, placements, results, rankings and achievements.

Private email addresses, internal Epic Account identifiers, passwords, authentication credentials and private application or support information are not intentionally displayed publicly unless you deliberately publish that information yourself or a specific submission clearly explains that it will be public.

7. How We Share Information and Use Service Providers

MYTHIX may disclose or allow personal information to be processed only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including with:

• Google for optional Google account authentication and Google services used by the website;
• Epic Games for user-requested Epic Account Services authentication, primary player sign-in and account connection;
• hosting, database, storage, security, email, support, analytics, advertising and other infrastructure providers;
• tournament administrators, event partners or reward providers when reasonably necessary to run a disclosed competition or deliver an approved reward;
• professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid requests, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or protect MYTHIX rights and security; and
• another organization in connection with a legitimate reorganization, merger, transfer or similar business change, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Information intended for public profiles, rosters, results and rankings may also be publicly available as described above. Service providers and third parties may process information under their own terms, privacy policies and applicable agreements.

8. How We Retain Information

MYTHIX retains each category of personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention depends on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the reason it was collected, account or connection status, competition integrity, security and fraud-prevention needs, disputes, and applicable legal, tax, accounting or recordkeeping obligations.

Account and verification information may be retained while an account remains active and afterward where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Epic Account identifiers and display names used for linking may be retained while the connection or MYTHIX account remains active and as reasonably necessary afterward. Tournament results, rankings, team records and competition statistics may be retained as part of MYTHIX's official competitive history. Application, community and support information may be retained for a reasonable period after the relevant matter is completed. Security, audit and abuse-prevention records may be retained while reasonably needed to investigate incidents and maintain system integrity.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, MYTHIX may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until they are removed through the normal backup cycle.

9. Security

MYTHIX uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including controlled administrative access, authentication and session protections, HTTPS, server-side validation, access controls and security monitoring. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You should also protect access to your email, Google, Epic Games and MYTHIX accounts.

10. Your Privacy Requests

You may ask MYTHIX to provide access to, correct or delete personal information associated with you, or request restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or unlinking of a connected service where those rights apply. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. A request may be limited where information must reasonably be retained for security, fraud prevention, competition integrity, dispute resolution, legal compliance or the rights of others. Never send a password, OAuth token or other authentication secret with your request.

11. Third-Party Services

Google, Epic Games, Discord, social networks, analytics and advertising providers, and other websites or services linked from MYTHIX operate under their own terms and privacy policies. MYTHIX does not control their independent privacy practices. This policy applies to MYTHIX's handling of information, not to a third party's separate handling of information.

12. Children's Privacy

MYTHIX services are not intended for children below the age at which they may lawfully provide personal information or consent to data processing without authorization from a parent or guardian. Individual competitions may also have separate age and eligibility rules. MYTHIX does not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information contrary to applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information improperly may contact mythix.pvt@gmail.com to request review or deletion, subject to lawful retention requirements.

13. Changes to This Policy

MYTHIX may update this Privacy Policy when its services, legal requirements or data practices change. The current version will be published at https://joinmythix.com/privacy with an updated revision date. Where appropriate or required, MYTHIX may provide additional notice of material changes.

14. Epic Games Notice

MYTHIX is independently operated and is not owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed or administered by Epic Games, Inc. Epic Games, Fortnite and related names and marks are the property of their respective owners. Epic Account Services and Epic Games' own processing are governed by Epic Games' terms and privacy policy; this policy describes MYTHIX's processing.

Information players provide directly in connection with a MYTHIX event or organization activity is provided to MYTHIX and not to Epic Games, Inc., except for information exchanged with Epic Games as necessary when a user voluntarily uses Epic Account Services.
